Pixel Art Tree Tutorial
When I first started out doing pixel art I couldn’t find a good tutorial on how to make trees. So now that I’m a bit better, I’ve decided to make my own!
For this tutorial, you’ll need some sort of digital art program. You probably shouldn’t be looking at digital art tutorials if you don’t have a digital art program. I use Pro Motion, but I’m pretty sure that Gimp and Photoshop work too.

Hello! Since art commissions are going very slow I decided to give it a try to making assets sheets for sale. I decided to start with food because it’s the thing I enjoy the most doing in pixel art. First time doing this so I’m still learning and picking style, amount and price.
So first asset sheet will be “Basic Food”, food will have different sizes (because seeing apples the size of watermelons in games have always been weird to me), tiles 48x48 (because I couldn’t find much for RPG Mv tile sizes) and will have around 50 sprites.
I’m open to suggestions for more basic food, plus which style could be more used.
- Apple: Whole, cut, bitten, heart.
- Banana: Single, bunch, peeled.
- Grapes: Singles, bunch.
- Pear: Whole, cut, bitten, heart.
- Fruit bowl: All the previous fruits.
- Eggs: Whole, cracked, cracked n spilled, fried egg.
- Bread: Normal, cut, with marmalade, bitten, toasted.
- Salad: Bowl, on a plate, half eaten.
- Whole vegetables: Lettuce, tomatoes, onions.
- Steak: Raw, cooked, half eaten.
- Chicken: Whole, leg, bitten.
Any other recommendations/suggestions I may be missing are very welcomed!
